Inbound Immersion Programmes to NTU

Blaze the trail with GEM Trailblazer from Nanyang Technological University (NTU), a unique Asian adventure featuring classroom, laboratory, or career learning at Singapore's leading science and engineering institution and one of Asia's top universities. With over 8,000 international students and offering a myriad and enriching array of programmes on a sprawling garden campus, NTU is a truly global institution.

GEM Trailblazer enables students to study in NTU Singapore via two overseas immersion programme routes:


Semester-long exchange

Applications for AY2019-2020 Semester 2 is open from 1 to 30 September 2019.


GEM Trailblazer Exchange allows you to Study, Research, or Work in NTU and Singapore for a minimum of one semester, and maximum of two semesters.

Semester 1 (Fall): 30 March
Semester 2 (Spring): 30 September


We welcome applications for undergraduate and postgraduate exchange.

At NTU, we offer undergraduate and limited postgraduate courses.

Postgraduate students are only able to read postgraduate courses. Please visit Course Selection page for the full course list.

Direct Masters students are advised to apply as Undergraduate, so that you can have access to both undergraduate and postgraduate courses:

  • To read advanced undergraduate courses offered at Year 4 level.
  • To read postgraduate courses, you must have completed at least seven (7) semesters at your home university and have met the necessary course pre-requisites.


Summer Programme

Applications for SummerNTU 2020 will open in January 2020.


GEM Trailblazer Summer offers up to FIVE different tracks.  From experiencing a full Asian cultural experience to opportunities to enhance your future business career in Asia and staying abreast with the latest technology in 3D Printing!
