Important notes for selected students

​​​​​​​​All successful applicants will be notified by the school through the School Administrator (SA).  The SA will correspond with students on the necessary documents required for TEP application.

Once your TEP pass has been approved

Accommodation

Information on which Hall you are allocated to will be notified through the SA. Students who are unable to secure accommodation on campus may source the same through the Off-Campus Accommodation System (OCAS).

On-Campus Accommodation

Hall Admin Office hours (collection and returning of keys) are as follows:

Mon – Thu          8:30am to 1pm & 1:45pm to 5.45pm

Fri                       8:30am to 1pm & 1:45pm to 5:15pm

Sat & Sun           Closed

*Students are not allowed to schedule their arrival and departure day on a Saturday, Sunday or Public Holiday, as the Hall Admin Office will not be available for keys collection / returning.

*Students have to give NTU-India Connect office an advance notice of 2 weeks for early withdrawal, otherwise in-lieu fees shall be imposed to the students for the early withdrawal.

Report to One-Stop @ SAC

Upon arrival at NTU, students are to report at One-Stop @ SAC to complete the TEP formalities.  

Students are required to get ready the following documents before reporting to One-Stop @ SAC

  1. Letter of Admission from NTU
  2. Detailed Training Program
  3. In-Principle Approval (IPA) Letter
  4. Passport
  5. Embarkation White Card (IMM27)
  6. Original Academic Transcripts and Certificates (with official English translation if the original is in another language)  
  7. Original Certification Letter from home university (with official English translation if the original is in another language)  
  8. Completed Emergency Contact Form
  9. Credit or Debit Card (only Visa or MasterCard is accepted for online payment to MOM for issuance)
  10. Emergency Contact Form (duly completed). This form will be provided to you together with the IPA letter should MOM approve your TEP application

Payment at One-stop @ SAC 

  • TEP Issuance Fees 

​​An issuance fee of $225 and a multiple journey visa fee of $30 (if applicable) will be chargeable to the student by Ministry of Manpower (MOM). Do note that payments will be made to MOM via online system.

  • TEP Application & Miscellaneous Fees - Payment to be made online before arrival.

Details can be found in your Letter of Admission.

Please note that the accepted mode of payment is strictly by the student's own debit or credit card with MasterCard or Visa function.  If the student is using someone else's debit or credit card, the card owner must be present; otherwise, the student will need to furnish the attached duly completed Authorization Form and a photocopy of the card owner's identity card or passport. 

Upon making payment, students will be able to collect the matriculation card (student card), In any case whereby the matriculation card is not ready. One-Stop @ SAC will notify you via your NTU email account, once it is ready for collection.  

Reporting to School

Students are required to communicate directly with their SA on preparation of any additional documents required before reporting to the School.

     

Extension of Internship

Any extension of internship period has to be requested through your supervising professor. We need your supervising professor to send us an email​ at indiaconnect@ntu.edu.sg​ for recommendation. Availability of hostel accommodation will be taken into consideration when approving the extension.

Early withdrawal from the internship date

Any early withdrawal from the agreed internship period will require approval from NTU-India Connect Office. Students will have to discuss with their supervising professor; Once both parties have agreed, you will have to ask your supervising professor to email​ us at indiaconnect@ntu.edu.sg to seek approval.

*Please note that students have to give NTU-India Connect 2 weeks advance notice for early withdrawal, otherwise in-lieu fees shall be imposed to the students towards the accommodation.
